Lonely Author Seeking Storybook Romance I’m an author/screenwriter. I’ve had 30+ short stories published as well as seven novels. I have also been hired to write films, comic books and website content.

It takes someone special to put up with an author and all the associated insanity. That’s the woman I’m looking for - one able to put up with my quirks and idiosyncrasies, someone able to deal with that artistic mentality/temperament and the sheer oddness of what I do and my work processes and schedules.

Because of what I do, I need LOTS of quiet time, too. Even a radio playing nearby is a distraction. When working, I need peace and quiet.

Despite being 36, I'm living with my parents, due in very large part to Dad’s health. I am looking for my own place. But the need to stay near Dad limits where I can look. Combined with the rising cost of living and the economy, I hope you can understand why I still live with my parents.

I’m also a baseball fan. My favorite team is the Chicago Cubs. I read a lot, both novels and comic books. I don’t watch a lot of TV, but there are a few shows I follow. Mostly if I have the TV on, I’m watching the Science Channel, Discovery Channel, History Channel or something along those lines. I’m Wiccan. If you have questions about my religion, ask me, please. Wicca isn’t as it’s usually portrayed on TV and in the movies! I’m also a vegetarian. The core of Wicca is “Harm None”. I can’t, in good conscious, say I try to follow that and still eat meat, knowing full well where it comes from. I love animals, especially cats. I HATE body/facial piercing - it’s disgusting in the extreme and I will not even consider dating anyone who had mutilated themselves in such a fashion.
