Well I am new to this siote and also new to the nudist community. I have thought about it countless times and came close to attending a campground while on vacation in virginia but chickened out at the last minute. So after a year of regretting that decision I have decided to go through with it, knowing many places are not single friendly I guess I should ask if anyone knows of any single friendly nudist camps in the upstate ny area, clothing optional is also an option so if anyone can help please let me know.

is an easy site to use to locate nudist venues. Enter your zip code and receive all venues within 200 miles or enter state code and receive all instate venues.
URLs are provided so you can link to the venues' website and be provided much information about the venue and its location, address, email address, etc. Call or email any venue to make sure you will be allowed entry. Some require an AANR membership.
Hope you visit and enjoy.
Jim
URL's are not allowed in the forums area. Members are welcome to add sites into their 'favorite websites' section, within their profiles though. In a case like this, we attempted to review the site listed, to consider making an exception...but w couldn't reach the site listed.

`I was kind of the same way a few years back when entertaining the idea of going to an officeial nude resort or facility. Finally went to Fraternity Snoqualmie in Issaquah, WA. Yes, I will admit that as son as I paid my day use fee then took off my clothes and strolled to the pool area for starters, I felt that "rush" coming "up" and sat down immediately !!
You get over that real soon then begin visiting with others and before you know it nothing like "that" happens much anymore.
Go For It !!

`@dta9526 the site you were going to in Va, too bad you did not make it there. White Tail Resort is a fantastic resort, the people are great as are the facilities. You really missed a great resort. If you are in Va again stop in for a few days, you will love it. Ask who Army John is and I'll give you the grand tour.

`As a single male, I find myself in a quandary: resenting that many clubs do not want me around, but understanding the reasons why. I "had" to become a feminist because of my disgust at the behavior of too many of my fellow males -- including the ones who would respond to some of the supposedly "nudist" ads I can see right now on this site.
In answer to dta9526's question, I have usually been able to find clubs that are okay with singles, at least in limited quantities. But really, "nudism in the wild" or "free-range nudism" is much better -- go to a free beach, or with some nude-friendly friends into remote backcountry where you will not be seen. No membership dues, no screenings, no quotas on numbers of males allowed. I have been to nudist resorts four times in my life; I have practiced "nudism in the wild" more times than I can count, and enjoyed it much more.
