Skinny Dipping

I live on a 1-acre property in NY. The pool is near the neighbor's pool and you can see the pool from the main road. I love skinny dipping and it sucks that I have to skinny dip only at night and I will not put up a bigger fence (chain link fence now) to block the view. Summer is coming, at least some skinny dipping is better than none

There are some small slats available that will weave into a chain link fence that will give some privacy. Hope this helps.........skinny

Skinny dipping is so much fun....My experiences with it are also at night....because of privacy issues....oh well...better than not skinny dipping I guess....

Since, I assume that your pool is enclosed by a fence of at least 1.2 m high, I suggest that you plant Ivy or climbing roses about the fence. You'll have a living privacy fence on the cheap. Or you can invite your neighbors over for some wine and a nude swim. It may be prudent for you to explain your behavior up front and not have them shocked and paniced. Several bottles of wine are cheaper than a confrontation with neighbors and or police.

BTW, why on 1 acre is your pool so near each other?

I live in the country and there is state land(80 acres) that connect to my property. It has a small lake where I swim/snorkle nude 2-3 times a day.I swim out into lake,take off my shorts and hook them to a underwater bouy i put there. Then i snorkle the lake 30-45 minutes.No one can see from the shore if anybody shows up,which only happened 5 times last yr.Very few people use the lake, so alot of privacy. When done swimming, i walk back home naked through the woods and to my property,then lay out in sun and warm up. [img][/img]

I agree with Karen. I told my neighbors Im a nudist up front to gauge their reaction. All were accepting of it and supported my choice while exclaiming they could never do that. Because of this the neighbors to the north bring their children into the house when I am doing a hot tub party. Even though I have a privacy fence all around, you know how curious kids are. Lived naked for 8 yrs now and no problems with any of my neighbors and I live in a neighborhood.

Hi all,
We both love skinny dipping and swimming in the sea naked feels so good.
Why did not try naturism before 2004 we will never know.

We have a pool in the yard with a required 6 foot wall around our property. Our neighbors knoiw we swim nude there and I guess we all feel the wall is a suffifient attempt to shield them (we could care less). If they see over or look from the windows and see, then itrs their choice. Never had any complaints.

I used to go skinny dipping with a mate of mine when i was younger, we used to walk along a lcal river and look for some tree cover with a bit of beach area and we used to get in the river with our shorts on but then strip off and throw them to the beach we were only seen naked on the beach a couple of times but nothing happened appart from this one older man and his dog who stood and watched us for a while rubbing himself through his trousers.

If your pool is on private property then the neighbors can say nothing about it. But if you are shy or there are neighbor children I suggest that you get some lattice and fasten it to the fence.
This will give you a measure of privacy, yet not total seclusion.
I agree that when you are restricted on your skinny dippin time sucks.
I love to swim and absolutely refuse to wear any clothing in my pool.

That is one of the things I love most about the bike rallys when they are on private property or leased space for bikers only. No one cares what you do as long as it doesn't invade the space of others.

Just got back from a Rally in Arkansas. It was in the mountains and beautiful. A river ran along the grounds and a lot of people would go down to the river and go skinny dipping all during the day and night. These are not nudists, just people with the sense to get comfy.
