`Hello and welcome. From what I hear, the chat rooms are good places to make friends, tho I wouldn't know since I'm not really into chat. I suggest you take time to look at profiles in your area, see if you like anyone. And put some info in your own profile -- I for one never friend anyone without knowing at least something about them. If you are worried about privacy, then put non-private info in your profile.
