Naturist modeling - not ---- - legality?

My daughter has been raised nudist/naturist since she was born. My wife (now deceased) did some nude modeling in her day, and was even featured in Met-Art (that's a whole scandal in itself, ask me another day.)

My daughter has caught the modeling bug and is doing a lot of work for local businesses, etc. She is getting a nice portfolio together, all clothed and simple modeling work. Now she has begun asking me (a lot) about doing some nudist shots at the beach. I told her I do not think it is allowed, and since she is not yet 18 it may not even be legal. A friend said that nudist photography, if it clearly avoids eroticism, is legal.

Any advice? Or should I just take it up when she hits 18?

I want to emphasize, I am talking about NATURIST modeling, not ----.

`It's certainly legal, -allowed- is something that varies from person to person... and unfortunately prosecution kinda tends to ignore the law and go along with peoples' feelings.. @_@

Now how did that make you feel? If not great, might not be the best idea.

`First off I don't know from what country you hail nor does it matter to me. the laws in the U.S. differ from other countries and from state to state. They feel the art of the female body is a private matter. they also view nudist with a grain of salt. some don't feel threatened by it others go ape at the mere mention of naturalist or nudity. And ---- is a total taboo to many. If your country allows family nudity then you and some legal eagles work out the paper work and let your daughter pursue her goals in life.

I have posed nude outdoors here in Vegas. At a few National parks. I did a few shoots at the resorts I work at also. As long a public nudity is allowed you can take pictures.
