I have been shaving from my nose to toes for 20 + years. Nothing like the feeling to be totally hairless and tanned.

I'd been away from the nudist community for some time (over 20yrs) so this 'smoothie' thing has been a sruprise to me. As a first reaction, I have to say, to me, it looks plain infantile.

How so? Think! What is the first indication of maturity? Hair growth! Do I want to interact with a child? Not particularly. I know, youthful appearance is more and more popular these days but that's just carrying it too far.

Yes, I know the argument about why, then, should women shave their underarms and their legs only and not the rest, and men don't at all, except for face, etc. What can I tell you, it's about as silly as men having to wear neckties and women painting their lips the color of blood - we just do it, that's all.

What I'm trying to get at here is what is driving this trend? In terms of 'Passion', meaning s----l relations, do people really want to 'do it' with prepubescent children? I'm not even sure I'd want to carry on a conversation with someone who's trying to look like an eight year old, man or woman.

But, perhaps I'm missing something here so please illuminate. OK? Aside from personal taste of clean shaven vs hairy, what's the attraction to the look?

I lvoe being shave the feel of it is great and it does not take the long about 5 mins before I take a shower. The best part if you like to get and give oral S-- its all ways better S-- with out the hair:) [/img]

I have been shaving for about ten years now and simply feel better and look better.
It is also cleaner and neater too.

" don't knock it until you've tried it "
shave yourself 1 time and see if you are comfortable, if not it will grow back.

Have been shaved for a few years now and also find it being neater and cleaner. I have no idea why some frown on the practice.

I too used to think of shaved as having to do with prepuberty. It has become such a popular thing though that when you find some one who has more than a "landing strip" you almost ask "they still make you?" LOL.
But seriously though, it is much cleaner and neater, I for one can't stand to get hair in my mouth, I have a very weak gag reflex and hair contributes to that. I can deal with very short and neatly trimmed, as thats what I do myself. I have tried numerous times to shave the twins, and not faired out so well, so I settle for just as close a trim as my trimmer will allow. As far as body shaving... well I have to say I'll abstain from that, I'm not an overly hairy person anyway. But yes, it is a matter of personal preference. And now I do not look at it as being pre puberty at all. It's just accepted, as well it is much cleaner and easier to clean up after intimacy.

`we been married 36yr now and up to 20 yr ago we would not, but seem even back then they were starting to shave, it does look neater and feel good also , to some none nudist look at that as a S-- thing but its only way you feel totaly free, thanks

`While I can not be classified a smoothie (I have more overall body hair than I care to have) I do keep my pubic hair trimmed and I do shave my scrotum every day. I like the feel of "smooth" testicles and my friends add that they look nicer to them. Plus to me, they feel better that way. I guess everyone has their own reasons for how they present themselves, nude or otherwise.

I like my public area to be smoth and bare, but instead rick being cut by razor, I use Nair hair remover,,,works great and I live that smooth feeling !

`I realize that being totally shaven is not for everyone, as some feel they just got to have some pubic hair. I absolutely hate it, and along with shaving my head, pits and full body I just love it. I have to get up early to avoid, those that would really scream (the wife) to enjoy the coolness of the breeze against my naked body in the yard.

There are places to go out in the woods, where I can get away but really wished my wife would enjoy being nude outdoors/indoors but does not share my same passion.
