As for the ingrown hairs and sores, I've found that it's best to not shave smooth some areas like the groin and arm pits. Areas where the hair grows flat against the skin. It seems best to use an electric razor in such areas because they always tend to leave just a little bit of stubble. I'm lucky in that my hair is very fine, so you really can't see or feel the stubble anyway. But if I blade shave. I'll be sure to get ingrown hairs......grrrrr....I hate that!

`My wife is shaved bare in summer and bushy in winter. She shaves herself or asks me to help with the harder to get at places. I don't see any correlation between and shaved genitals. If there is then are men who shave their face trying to emulate preteen boys?

I can sorta see the correlation, but it's a loose correlation at best. The first time I shaved myself bare, my first reaction was how I thought it made me look younger. After a week or so, I got use to the look. Now it's hard to imagine being hairy again. Sorta like being nude. It's strange for the first 15min or so, then it feels natural.

Anyway, it's a personal preference. That's how I see it now. Some guys like to have big --- hairy beards. Some shave their whole face. Some guys only shave their chest and nothing else.

As for me, I like the smoothie look on me. Some people look good with hair or nicely trimmed bodies. I never could grow thick hair, so it looks better shaved. Women the same way. Some girls look incredibly hot with a trimmed bush. Others look delicious all shaved. Personal preference is all. I personally like the hygiene of having a shaved body, but that's just me.

I agree!

My closest friends aren't nudists but they are 18-19 and most like no hair because if they have light bikinis the hair shows through when they get out of pools. My thought for me is if wearing no underwear with a dress or skirt it feels nice to be smooth there. So seems like there are good reasons to have no hair for sure.

As for LHR, do not expect miracles. I had LHR treatments on my legs and butt for a long time, and the end result is, the hair there grows more slowly so that I don't have to shave as often. It did not totally disappear.

I like my man to be smooth or trimmed close as do I.
I think because we are all different and have different opinions on hair or smooth then I think it's ok either way

`Personal preferences are like everything else. Some do some don't. And some have good and valid reasons to do certain things, and some have good and valid reasons not to do certain things.

Some people can wear make-up, and some are violently allergic. So it's the same with some people shaving. Some people can't or if they do they'll have very bad problems when it does grow back. Ingrown hair can be a serious problem.

Just about every male, if not female, military person has heard about it at least once in basic training.

Hair removal "creams" are caustic chemicals which can be as uncomfortable near your sensitive regions as a razor.

As I mentioned several posts ago, I have been re-educated on this matter, by others on this forum. But simply stating that it is outrageous would not clarify anything -- it is on the same level as my stating the belief, without evidence. More helpful would have been explaining what your reasons are.
