Nudist resorts are all well and good, but what about forming actual nudist communities? As in, not specifically oriented to recreation per se, but to living life in the nude. A variety of "intentional community," in which the common interests include naturism. I have become involved in one in the Caribbean, and am curious whether this idea has taken hold among nudists more generally.
It sure is nice not to have to put on clothes just because I need to step out the door a minute. As yet I have not been able to stat in the Caribbean long term (in the US as I write this), but I take comfort in knowing I have that refuge to go to.

I've heard and read of this in some European countries (France: Cap d'Agde comes first to mind with a nude lady doing her grocery shopping), but not anywhere in the U.S.. I suspect that now days the legal ramifications would be to great to overcome in the U.S., mainly by religious purists.
Someone back in the 1960's did such a study nudist community, and came to absurd conclusions saying the s----l aspects can not be overcome. I find that conclusion absurd because I know those European Nudist communities do exist. Yet, that study still holds great weight throughout the U.S. and religious purists still cling to that 1960's study.
"Design a study to prove a point, no matter how false it is, your bound to prove it true."
...And so it was with this study. They put a group of nude "h---- censored" teenagers together and so several girls got pregnant, end of study.
