`Might be okay as long as you don't speed, both headlights are in working order, you get the picture, just so you don't get pulled over. Or get in a collision. I have occasionally driven nude, but I keep a pair of shorts handy by my feet for rest stops, etc. I have more often driven in a thong swimsuit.

600 miles yesterday nude,had a couple flash me should have seen there eyes when they find out i was nude.they stayed beside me for a while and gave me a show.

`When younger and mostly crazy, I have been known to drive back from the lake after dark sans clothes, and on a really rare occassion during daylight.
But as mossytrail points out there are way too many issues and problems these days--probably were then too--to take a risk of being in a wreck naked or arrested.

`I just did it last weekend's road trip. Most of the time I was in National Forest and BLM lands, but I was well into rural farmland before I decided it was time to play it safe and put some shorts on. I wouldn't do it on the highway -- too many other drivers about. That said, the few who passed me on those forest roads wouldn't have had much of a view.
I even pulled into a scenic viewpoint parking lot and went to the restroom without putting anything on. Of course, there was no one else there when I arrived, and I carried a pair of shorts to the restroom with me in case anyone arrived while I was in there. I heard a couple arrive and depart, but they were gone by the time I came out. I even took the time before getting back into the car to inspect it for damages from the hairy maneuvering I'd had to do to get out of a road that turned out to be too narrow and rocky for my Cobalt. (Thought I was going to pull an Austin Powers trying to turn around, so I backed out instead.)
The previous day, I had on a track jacket and a thong when I asked some folks for help with my map. The way I was sitting and had the jacket pulled down, you couldn't be sure I wasn't wearing short shorts. That is also what I was wearing at the Burger King drive-through, once I realized I was going to be late getting home; I got my veggie burger and onion rings without a hitch. Ever since then, that is what I wear for my dog's final trip outside before bed at night -- not many people out and about after dark in my neighborhood.
