It is so darn hot in the summer in the southern U.S. And I'm in east TN which is not even the deep south - I can't even imagine what it's like in the deep south where it's even hotter and even more humid. East TN is, of course, a relatively wet climate with the nearby Smoky Mountains being classified as a Rainforest. But anyway, here in the TN valley, it is hot and humid, and I love being able to take everything off and be in the woods, by a stream, by an inlet on the lake, or even somewhere where I can meet friends and skinny dip in a pool. Gotta find ways to beat the heat, and, what in the world is the point of a swimsuit!? Also, I LOVE naked hikes. Perhaps it's just the way that hiking was meant to be done.
